Finding Refuge : A Workshop on Retreats

Prerequisite: Only the knowledge that you
yearn for a time set aside just for YOU!.
This is an interactive workshop
that will include information on the who, what, when, where, why and how of retreats. Each attendee will receive the
Angel Whispers RI Retreat Kit, a sample retreat itinerary, resource materials and refreshments. Participants should
wear comfortable clothing; layers are recommended.
Living
WELL with Chronic Illness

Prerequisite: Perfect for anyone living
with, loving or caring for a person with a chronic condition
Whether it is arthritis or psoriasis, depression or diabetes,
we all know someone, live with someone, work or love someone with chronic pain or illness. We may be that
someone. In this workshop we will discuss ways to optimally manage chronic health conditions through the
integration of traditional medical care with stress reduction and complimentary healing
modalities. All participants will receive course materials. Please confirm at least
2 days prior to this event so that enough materials will be available.
Adriene has been living with chronic illness since being
diagnosed with diabetes in 1974. She has been active in researching traditional, scientific medical advancements, and
is a enthusiastic student of holistic/complementary forms of healing. She is currently part of the Integrative
Therapies Program at South County Hospital.
Reiki 1st Degree
Date: Saturday, May 15, 2010

Prerequisite:
Only the desire or guidance to learn this healing art form.
During this class you will be taught the origins of Usui Reiki, the healing benefits attributed to it,
and the hand positions used for treatment. Each participant will then receive the attunement for level I. Following
lunch any questions will be answered as we review the morning session. The afternoon will include time to give
and receive Reiki. My goal is for everyone to feel comfortable using Reiki energy on yourself and others.
After this class you will be encouraged to extend your use of Reiki energy to your family, your friends and

Reiki 2nd Degree
Date: Sunday, May 16, 2010.

Prerequisite:
Completion of Reiki 1st Degree (please bring a copy of your certificate if taught by another Master Teacher)
In this class we will review Reiki
1st degree information and have the opportunity to share our experiences with Reiki energy. More advanced techniques
will be taught, including how to send Reiki energy to individuals through time and space. Each participant
will then receive the attunement for level II. Following lunch any questions will be answered as we review
the morning session. The afternoon will include time to practice our new techniques. My continuing wish
is for everyone to feel comfortable using Reiki energy on yourself and others. After this class you will be able
to collect a monetary fee for your services providing Reiki energy to clients. To

Magnified Healing® is a full day course working with the guidance and teachings of
Kwan Yin. The learning and practice of this process incorporates all aspects of healing, using sacred geometries,
breathing, and affirmations, allowing the student to fully participate. Upon completion you will be able
to incorporate the process into your everyday life and to teach the process to others.
The workshop includes:
An 85-page teaching Manual, as well as a Certificate, a practice CD and one bottle of Essence. Lunch
